Are you ready for this year’s Charity Ball?

Written by Cindy Carrillo, President

This Thursday, November 5, is Mount Saint Mary’s annual Charity Ball. Every year, an organization is nominated and all proceeds collected during the ball will be donated to the organization selected. This year will be the Max Love Project, which was founded in 2011 and inspired by eight-year-old SuperMax Wilford who is battling brain cancer.

“We empower families fighting childhood cancers and related life-threatening conditions with quality of life care, fierce foods, whole-body wellness resources, education and research. We believe that true health starts when families are empowered to be active partners in their child’s healing.” -MaxLove Project via Facebook

Tickets can be purchased beforehand until Wednesday, November 4th in the SGA/Women’s Leadership and Student Involvement Office for $10, or at the door for $12. There will be dinner, raffles and tons of fun. So put on your fancy dress you’ve been waiting to wear and join The Athenian Print and the Mount Community for this delightful evening.
